Helsinki, Finland — The Cyber Security Nordic trade fair, held on 4–5 November 2025, brought together trainers, cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, youth work specialists, and technology innovators from across the Nordic–Baltic region for a full day of discussions focused on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, ethics, education, and digital resilience.
At the same time as the larger Cyber Security Nordic conference and exhibition, the Cybercation 2025 cybersecurity competition took place at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 4 November.
3KGroup had the privilege of providing a dedicated Wi-Fi and internet solution for the most critical activities within Cybercation 2025, ensuring that hackathon participants and the competition’s live broadcast could rely on a stable, isolated network, separate from the venue’s general public Wi-Fi.
3KGroup implemented a fully managed, end-to-end Wi-Fi solution designed specifically for Cybercation’s diverse environment — covering the forum, the high-intensity hackathon competition, and its live broadcast.
The solution included, across all designated areas:
Both the cybersecurity competition itself and the quality of its broadcast depended directly on the reliability of the Wi-Fi network.
3KGroup’s tailored solution ensured:
Although 3KGroup’s headquarters are in Estonia, the company has all the necessary resources, partners, and capabilities to deliver professional event Wi-Fi solutions across Finland — including Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, and surrounding areas.
This regional reach enables rapid deployments, reliable on-site support, and consistent quality for events of any scale. Moreover, 3KGroup has repeatedly supported event connectivity solutions elsewhere in Europe, including Portugal. Our experience shows that with the right local contacts and collaboration, nothing is impossible or insurmountable.
The event at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre has established a new precedent for smooth cooperation with this major venue, which naturally already operates its own local network. In our experience, even for the most demanding event requirements, it is always possible to deploy an additional temporary, fully managed Wi-Fi and internet layer — one that benefits everyone involved.
Cybercation continues to grow into one of the most important cybersecurity and digital education forums in the Nordic–Baltic region. 3KGroup is proud to have contributed to the success of this year’s event and stands ready to provide temporary, high-performance event Wi-Fi and managed connectivity for future conferences, hackathons, and trade fairs in Finland, Estonia, and beyond.
As demonstrated, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre — a major event venue in the region — is also a fully manageable and well-suited site for 3KGroup’s solutions.
