[Mariehamn, Åland, Finland – 3 December 2025] – Ålcom introduces WiFi+, a new service that delivers stronger, smarter, and more reliable home connectivity across Åland. The service has been developed in partnership with 3KGroup, a value-added distributor and advanced networking solutions provider. WiFi+ is powered by Plume’s cloud-based platform, used by over 400 service providers worldwide and operating in more than 60 million active locations.
WiFi+ uses Plume SuperPods and the Plume Home app as core components to improve coverage, simplify control, and maintain a smoothly operating home network. The system automatically adapts to changes in the home and to the devices connected to the network — helping reduce slowdowns and improve stability without requiring technical knowledge from the user.
